Run a check Which page?

We fetch the page once, the way Google does. We do not log in, submit forms or keep the HTML.

What Gets Checked

Seventeen things, weighted by what matters.

A missing title costs more than a missing language attribute, and the score says so. Every check comes with the fix, not just the finding.

Title and description

Present, unique, and the right length to show in full on a results page.

Headings and copy

One H1, real subheadings, and enough text to answer the question the page targets.

Indexability

Noindex directives, canonical tags, HTTPS, viewport, and the language declaration.

Structured data

Which schema types the page carries, and whether the site has an llms.txt and robots.txt.

Images and links

Alt text coverage, lazy loading, and the internal and external link count.

Server response

How long the HTML takes to arrive and how heavy it is. Everything else loads after that.

FAQ

Questions people ask about this tool.

What does the checker look at?
The HTML of one page as a crawler sees it: title, meta description, H1 and subheadings, word count, image alt text, canonical tag, noindex directives, HTTPS, viewport, language, JSON-LD schema, Open Graph tags, internal and external links, and server response time. It also looks for llms.txt and robots.txt at the site root.
The page ranks fine. Why is the score low?
Because the score measures what is on the page, not where it ranks. Pages rank despite missing basics all the time, usually on the strength of links or a weak field. The checks are things that would make a ranking page rank better and a weak one start moving.
Does it check Core Web Vitals or page speed?
Only the server response time for the HTML. Full performance needs a real browser run, which is what Google's PageSpeed Insights does. If the server response here is slow, nothing PageSpeed measures will be fast either.
Is anything stored?
The report is cached for ten minutes so a repeat check of the same URL is instant. The HTML is not kept, and nothing is attached to you. There is a limit of fifteen checks per ten minutes per connection.
