Small Business Highlight: GI Juice & Java
GI Juice & Java located in Buckingham is owned by Tiffany Pedone and her mother, Sherry Carlin USArmy Ret. Started just a few months ago, Tiffany moved back home from New York City and living a fast paced and healthy living lifestyle. After moving to Buckingham she noticed a miss in the area for healthy alternatives. Tiffany’s family had health issues and it was a goal for them to change that by developing GI Juice & Java.
All local grown and organic ingredients is the main core of her business. While Chris and I were there we noticed this unique woodwork in the seating area. Tiffany mentioned it was a local woodworker and provided us his information. Within a few minutes the man who created this unique wood in her store comes walking in to order his usual.
Watching Tiffany interact with her customers reminded us how we treat our customers at SEO Locale. Each one had the personal attention and the staff would spend quality time talking about the day. Walking into GI Juice & Java you will get that positive vibe with the decor and colors.
Why is GI Juice & Java so unique to the community? You do not get this customer experience and quality anywhere else. GI Juice & Java is involved in the community in various ways in the first few months of being in business.
What is happening in 2019? GI Juice & Java is moving their products wholesale and soon customers will be able to purchase at other places.
“Please use only what you need” #ZeroWaste
The quote that caught my eye while we were saying good-bye was this quote next to the trash. I asked Tiffany off the camera why she has this quote in her store. Tiffany mentioned “There is so much waste in the food industry and I would love to make a small impact by changing the amount of waste at GI Juice & Java. We do this by providing our food waste to feed a local pig farm and serving food and beverages only in compostable containers. No paper or plastic straws here! Plant fiber straws that won’t melt into your smoothie is the only way to go!”
