Curtis George is an SEO Strategist at SEO Locale, joining the team after graduating from Drexel University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Through Drexel’s co-op program, Curtis gained real-world experience before graduation and ultimately found his way to SEO.

What drew him to SEO was the opportunity to see the impact digital strategy can have on a business. From increasing visibility and website traffic to helping a company grow, Curtis enjoys seeing how the work happening behind the scenes can translate into real results.

Finding His Place in SEO

As an SEO Strategist, Curtis is especially interested in understanding how people search and how those behaviors change across different industries. Every business, audience, and search landscape brings something different to the table, giving him an opportunity to approach new challenges from a fresh perspective.

That variety is also what keeps SEO interesting for Curtis. He enjoys continuing to build his knowledge, developing new skills, and learning from each client and project he works on.

Learning Never Stops

One of Curtis’s core beliefs is that growth comes from being willing to learn and take on new challenges. His time at Drexel helped him develop his marketing knowledge while also strengthening the communication and interpersonal skills that carry into his work today.

For Curtis, learning is not limited to his career. He brings the same mindset to new skills, hobbies, and experiences, viewing each one as an opportunity to improve and come away knowing something he did not know before.

Always Up for an Adventure

Outside of work, Curtis has a hard time turning down an opportunity to try something new. Whitewater rafting, cliff jumping, spontaneous trips, and anything else that gets the adrenaline going are all firmly within his comfort zone.

He enjoys getting out, exploring new places, and taking a chance on experiences he has never tried before. His philosophy is pretty simple: you will never know if you do not give it a shot.

Music With a Story

Music is another major interest for Curtis, but he is not much of a passive listener. He enjoys digging into the purpose and storytelling behind a song and approaching music almost like someone might approach a piece of art.

He is always looking for a new sound, artist, or genre to add to the rotation, so music recommendations are always welcome.
