Med Spa SEO

SEO for med spas.

A med spa client searches by treatment, by town and by result: "Botox near me", "laser hair removal in [town]", "CoolSculpting before and after". We build the treatment pages, the map pack position, the galleries and the reviews that turn those searches into a booked consultation, with every booking tracked to the search that produced it.

The Short Version

How a med spa fills the book.

A page for every treatment on the menu

Each injectable, laser, skin and body treatment gets a page written to what the client asks: what it does, what it costs, how long it lasts, what the downtime is, who performs it. Those pages are where treatment searches land.

Before-and-after galleries that rank

Results searches are image searches. Galleries are built so the photos load fast, carry the treatment and the town in their markup, and sit on the treatment page rather than in a separate album nobody finds.

The map pack for the towns clients drive from

A med spa draws from twenty minutes around it. The profile, the categories, the service list and the reviews are built for the towns in that circle, so the spa shows in the three-pack for "near me" across all of them.

Booking tracked to the search

Online booking is wired into the analytics, so the spa sees which treatment pages and which searches produce consultations, and the campaign and the ad budget follow the treatments with the margin.

Med spa SEO built around the treatment menu

Med spa SEO built around the treatment menu

A med spa site usually lists its treatments in a grid and explains none of them. The client researching lip filler wants to know the product, the units or syringes, the price range, the swelling, the longevity and the injector’s credentials, and the spa that publishes that page wins the search and the consultation. The campaign writes those pages for every treatment the spa wants to be known for, with the provider’s bio and photo on each, the gallery on each, and the questions answered in the spa’s own voice.

Behind them, the technical work keeps the site fast on a phone, marks the spa up as a medical spa with its providers and hours, keeps the booking widget from slowing the page, and keeps the treatment pages from competing with the blog posts about the same treatment.

Why med spas choose SEO Locale

Why med spas choose SEO Locale

Because the healthcare and salon work we have done since 2015 means the treatment menu, the seasonality and the review questions are already familiar, and because the writer, the profile manager, the ad manager and the strategist all sit in one office in Montgomeryville. Every keyword is checked weekly in SEOApp, the tracker we built, and the monthly report shows bookings and consultations from the spa’s own data. Every agreement is month to month.

Why Med Spas Are Different

The client is searching for a treatment, not for a spa.

Nobody types "med spa near me" as often as they type the treatment they want. Botox, lip filler, microneedling, laser hair removal, body contouring, a chemical peel before a wedding. Each is its own search with its own page, its own photos and its own questions about price, pain and downtime, and the spa that answers them for every treatment on the menu is the one that gets the booking.

I had a really good impression of Nick and the team but unfortunately they significantly underdelivered on what was promised. With two days left after our first month all we had received was a list of keywords and a few articles that were almost certainly AI generated, about 20%…

FAQ

Questions from med spa owners

What aesthetic practices ask before they hire an agency.

We offer forty treatments. Do we really need a page for each?

For the ones you want to be known for, yes. A page per treatment is how the treatment searches are won, and it is where the gallery, the provider and the price range belong. Minor add-ons can share a page with their parent treatment. The audit says which treatments have search volume in your area and which do not.

Can we show before-and-after photos?

Yes, with written consent from the client and within your state’s medical advertising rules. Galleries are one of the strongest things a med spa page can carry, because results searches are image searches. We build them to load fast and to be marked up for the treatment and the town.

Our clients are private. How do we get reviews?

Ask after the appointment, from the provider the client saw, by text with a direct link, and let the client choose what to say. Most clients who are happy with a result will leave a review if the request is easy and timed well. Responses never mention a treatment the client did not mention first.

Should we run Google Ads too?

For the high-margin treatments, usually yes, at least while the pages build. Injectable and laser terms are competitive and a ranking takes months, so paid search on the exact treatments with a landing page per treatment fills the book in the meantime. The budget comes down as the organic position comes up.

How soon will bookings increase?

Map pack gains from the profile work show in two to three months. Treatment pages take four to eight months to rank, depending on the competition in your town. Paid search brings bookings as soon as the campaign is live. The audit gives a timeline for your market rather than a generic one.

Is there a contract?

No. Every agreement is month to month. The plan is explained before you pay for it, and you can stop when the work stops being worth it.

Treatment searches, local searches and result searches

Med spa clients arrive three ways. Treatment searches, "Botox", "Morpheus8", "laser hair removal", "Kybella", are won by the treatment page with the most useful answers. Local searches, "med spa near me", "lip filler in [town]", are won in the map pack through Local SEO and Google Business Profile SEO: the right primary category, every treatment in the services list, provider photos, hours and a steady stream of reviews that mention the treatment. Result searches, "before and after", "does it hurt", "how long does it last", are won by galleries and by answers written by the providers, and those are the searches made weeks before a booking.

The seasonal calendar

Laser hair removal searches peak in late winter, body contouring before summer, peels and resurfacing in the fall, injectables before the holidays and wedding season. The content and the ad budgets move with it, and each page is strong a season before its search rises.

What a med spa gets from the campaign

The free audit, reviewed by a person, comes first: where the spa sits for each treatment and each town in its circle, who sits above it, what their pages, galleries and profiles carry that yours do not, where the site is slow and whether the booking flow loses clients on a phone. The profile and citations are fixed in the first month. The top treatment pages are rewritten next, with the providers, the galleries and the price ranges on them. Town pages and the question library follow, and the review request is wired into the booking software so it goes out after the appointment.

Compliance and claims

Med spa marketing sits inside medical advertising rules: before-and-after photos with consent, no outcome guarantees, medical director oversight where the state requires it, and no claims a product’s own labeling does not support. The pages are written to those rules, because a spa cannot rank its way out of a board complaint.

Paid search, social and the spas that grow

The treatment terms with the highest margin are worth buying while the rankings build. Paid Advertising runs on the exact treatment and town terms, with a landing page per treatment and every booking tracked. Social campaigns carry the galleries and the offers to the audience around the spa, and the two report into the same monthly review as the SEO.

For the spas that grow, the pattern is consistent: own the treatment pages first, then the map pack in the home town, then the towns clients drive from, then a second location with its own profile and pages. Reputation Management keeps the reviews growing and answered through all of it, because a four-and-a-half-star spa with three hundred reviews beats a five-star spa with twelve. SEO starts at $500 a month and there is no contract.

Other Services

A med spa client searches for a treatment and books on reviews, so Local SEO and Google Business Profile SEO carry the map pack, Reputation Management carries the reviews, and Paid Advertising buys the highest-margin treatment searches while the pages climb.
